Caramel Pudding from Daiso

That day went to Daiso (my favourite shop ^^). Saw this Caramel Pudding powder... looks interesting! It looks kinda easy to do... from its instruction its like just add milk will do... easy right ~ ^^

Ok~ guess it won't take much time to do this thing~ Let's start~
It has 2 packet of powder inside the box. 1 big powder for pudding and another smaller packet 1 for the caramel topping.

First, let's prepare the container to keep the pudding :)

I reuse this little glass bottle which I bought pudding from Lavender Bakery earlier ^^
As for this container, I'm able to make 5 pudding with 1 packet powder.

Ingredient? Dutch Lady full cream milk! 400ml~

Add the big packet powder into the dutch lady milk.

Cook with medium heat while mixing regularly until all the powder has dissolve.

Let it cook until the milk mixture is boiled.
Turn to low heat and let it continue cook for 1 more minute.
Turn off the heat and evenly pour into container.

Let it cool down a bit in room temperature and then put into the fridge and let it set for at least 1 hour.

Lastly, prepare your caramel topping !
It has another small packet powder in the box which is for the caramel topping.

It should be adding 1 tablespoon into the powder and mixed well...
But as you can see... I put in a big cup of water(cz the instruction with japanese word I misunderstand)!! OMG!! This is failure demostration hahaha...

The powder only have 1 packet... there's no way to do it again... No choice~ so I try to cook the mixture and see weather it will dried up the water a bit? If can't work then just abandon this thing i guess...

Ok... Lets try...! I cook it with low heat and let the mixture keep boiling.. I don't know how long it takes, but in the end...

It works! It has been dried up a bit and the taste it good. Just the color become too dark compare with what it should be hahaha...

After the pudding has become harden, scoop 3 teaspoon of caramel topping into each pudding.
Put back into the fridge and it's ready to eat anytime~ Njoy~ :D ♥ ❤

Non-Baked Tiramisu

Hi all~
Long time didn't try new recipe~ today my bro's girlfriend said she gonna make Tiramisu again~  (She did it twice before this^^) So it's a good chance for me to try on new recipes~
So today we are going to make Tiramisu!! ٭٭٭٭٭
I believe this dessert is very popular among the girls~ hmm... at least most of my friends would love it... :)

 Here's the ingredient you need~
  • 1pkt Ladyfingers
  • 500g Mascarpone cheese
  • 250g Whipping cream
  • 50g Fine granulated sugar (25g for egg whites & 25g for egg yolks)
  • 1 tbsp Espresso powder
  • 1 tspVanilla extract
  • 200g Unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 200ml Baileys Irish cream
  • 3 egg

All the tools I've used this time~ I use tiny glass as a container so each one can finish up 1 cup at a time~ because the tiramisu at the end would be slightly creamy rather than hard like a cake, so if you use a big container, the outcome might not look nice when you have to cut it in the container and serve it on a plate.

First, prepare your espresso first. Take 1 tablespoon of espresso powder and put it into a filter bag and add with boiled hot water. After that put it aside to be ready for your steps later.

Separate the egg yolks and egg whites. Ooops~ Sorry~ I had messed up a little bit :p

Beat the egg whites until you see bubbles, gradually add in the sugar and continue beating. For the sugar adding part, I seperate into 3 times. Add 1/3 of the sugar at a time and keep beating at a fast speed.

Beat the egg whites until it foam a creamy foam.

Take out the egg whites from the mixer and pour in your whipping cream. Beat with fast speed until it foam a soft peaks. *Carefull.. don't over beat..it will become curdles and separated* If you see your whipping cream looks like a scrambled egg... and Congratulation! you had over beat your whipping cream. Go buy again the 2 packet and start beating again. Sorry I'm too nervous to do this steps until forgot to take the final picture haha!:D

For the egg yolks, add in the remaining sugar just now and add in 1 tsp of vanilla extract. After that beat until it become fluffy foam.

This is the mascarpone cheese~~~ my favourite!!! ❤ ❥❤ ❥

From the whipped cream in the mixer just now, now I add in all the mascarpone cheese, egg whites and egg yolks. *Perhaps I need a bigger mixer bowl...so full the bowl!*

Beat with slow speed until everything mix up well. And here done your cheese mixture part~

Now let's start to do the cake part...

Simply pour out some coffee you make just now into a plate. A thin layer about 2-3mm is good enough.

Then pour out Baileys into another plate...

Now take 1 of your ladyfingers and damp its bottom in the baileys plate for 3 seconds.

After that turn it over and damp its top part with coffee for 1-2 seconds. Don't be greedy and soak the biscuits to get more taste.. because the ladyfingers can absorb very fast.. and your cake will become watery and its very disgusting!!!

Place the ladyfingers into your container. The can break the ladyfingers into pieces according to your container before you wet em'

Second layer, spoon out your cheese mixture just now and slowly lay them on the ladyfingers. You don't need a thick layer, just a layer that cover the ladyfingers.

After the second layer, repeat to do the ladyfinger and place it for the 3rd layer. The rest layer are also just keep repeating until your container is full.

For my bowl, 2 layer of ladyfingers already full. So I put my last layer of cheese.. Then I cover each cup with plastic food wrap and put it into the freezer. Please let the tiramisu to freeze for 2 hour before serving out :)

And TADAA...!!!! Here comes your faaaavourite tiramisu cake~
oops~ this picture took too early... after that I sprinkle the top with all cocoa powder ^_^ then can't wait to try already!! no time for picture #^_^#
